Shot in the beautiful wilds of New Mexico, "5 Shells" is a re-imagining of L. Frank Baum's classic, "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz," a young girl must protect her older sister as they wander across a post apocalyptic desert searching for a new home with only a shotgun and five shells for defense.
There is a screening on November 30th 2011 at Anthology Film Archives in New York. The details are on the brand new website 5shellsmovie.com where you can check out the trailer, some images, and the great featurette that Anton Kozikowski put together.
